Getting involved in an environment that encourages intergenerational exchange

Create social links and become part of a dynamic community

4.

Give your time to look after children between 3 months and 4 years of age

5.

Develop skills such as listening, creativity, patience and kindness

6.

Put a smile on the children's faces when you come to the association

What We Offer You

As a volunteer at I Work U Play, you will gain a rewarding experience in a caring and dynamic environment. At I Work U Play, every volunteer:

  • Benefits from resources and support through our partnership with students from HES-SO Valais-Wallis
  • Can be guided by an early childhood educator recently graduated from ESEDE in Lausanne (upon request)
  • Receives a work certificate that adds value to their professional journey
  • Gains access to extensive documentary resources related to early childhood education

Volunteers' Charter of Commitments

We expect all our volunteers to be committed and consistent, as this is essential for the proper functioning of the association. As a volunteer in the childcare space, your regular presence helps maintain the well-being of children who are not used to external childcare. Thanks to your involvement, parents can focus on their professional projects with peace of mind.

Our volunteer’s words

TANYA

‘I really appreciate the relationships between the volunteers, the children and the parents, everything is done in a spirit of sharing. The atmosphere on the premises is calm and soothing, which enables us to keep our cool when/if certain situations require it, and it’s very nice to be able to count on all the volunteers as well as the members of the association.’
